Kempower North America shipped its first carbon neutral, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intertek.com\/marks\/etl\/guide\/authorization\/\">ETL certified<\/a>, EV chargers made in the US to the heart of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capp.ca\/oil\/what-are-the-oil-sands\/\">Athabasca oil sands<\/a> in Alberta, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEven in an area that\u2019s home to the fourth-largest oil reserves in the world; it\u2019s clear that green transportation, particularly an infrastructure of DC-FC EV charging satellites, will no longer be optional,\u201d said Business Development Manager <strong>Pascal Flambard<\/strong>, who spent months negotiating the first sale and shipment of the (pictured) EV charging solution to Kempower\u2019s first Canadian partners <a href=\"https:\/\/chargestopev.com\">ChargeStop<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evlutioncharge.com\/\">EVLution<\/a>, consisting of a 600kW Kempower Power Unit and Kempower Charging Satellites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlberta is the oil capital of Canada, but electrification is mandatory to sustain our future, and the future has already arrived,\u201d added Flambard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just this year the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/newsreleases\/biden-harris-administration-proposes-strongest-ever-pollution-standards-cars-and\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">federal emission standards<\/a>&nbsp;recommending that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartcitiesdive.com\/news\/epa-tighter-emissions-standards-transition-electric-vehicles-EV\/647411\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">67 percent<\/a>&nbsp;of future light-duty and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/04\/12\/climate\/biden-electric-cars-epa.html?name=styln-biden-epa-ev&amp;region=TOP_BANNER&amp;block=storyline_menu_recirc&amp;action=click&amp;pgtype=Article&amp;variant=undefined\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">25 percent<\/a>&nbsp;of heavy-duty vehicles sold are electric by 2032.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meeting those standards, Director of Operations &amp; Business Development at Kempower North America, <strong>Marcus Suvanto<\/strong> says are dependent on infrastructure that will need a technological difference that makes Kempower\u2019s DC charging technology a top choice for a myriad of fleet owners and operators, retailers, charging station developers, harbor facility operators, environmental planners and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe key differentiator of Kempower solutions, is the dynamically shared power, which is controlled and optimized through our own <a href=\"https:\/\/kempower.com\/america\/solution\/kempower-chargeye-for-cpo\/\">Software called ChargeEye<\/a>,\u201d said Suvanto. \u201cThis one headed to Alberta can provide power to 6 Kempower Satellites;
