Durham, NC <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 (Wednesday, May 8, 2024) Kempower<\/a>, in collaboration with EVRevolution<\/a>, supported by Atlas Copco Group<\/a>, Husqvarna Construction<\/a>, Volvo Construction Equipment<\/a>, and Sweden-US Green Transition Initiative<\/a>; successfully installed a fully electrified Kempower Satellite Charging System  from start to finish at its North America Headquarters in Durham, North Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative is aimed to showcase the potential of sustainable construction practices by \u2018Building Electric with Electric<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUsing electric vehicles reduces harmful pollutants that cause asthma and climate change. These benefits are increased when the electricity used to power the vehicles comes from clean, renewable sources.\u201d<\/p>\nHeather Brutz, Clean Transportation Program Director<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from NC State University rallied alongside leadership from the Durham County Commissioners office, City of Durham, Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce and Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster were on hand to witness and celebrate the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
