The site, now the largest non-Tesla fast charging station in Northern California, United States marks the launch of Ava\u2019s planned network of up to 15 stations designed to expand equitable access to EV charging.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located at Oakland City Center West Garage near downtown Oakland, the station brings reliable, high-capacity charging to one of the region\u2019s densest urban areas. With nearly half of Alameda County residents living in rental housing, public fast charging plays a critical role in enabling EV adoption.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Kempower\u2019s modular, durable technology is built for high-traffic, urban hubs like Oakland,\u201d said Kempower North America President<strong> Monil Malhotra<\/strong>. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to support Ava\u2019s efforts to deliver fast, reliable charging where it\u2019s needed most.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Oakland\u2019s 2030 Equitable Climate Action Plan (ECAP) aims to confront climate change by prioritizing frontline communities and expanding equitable access to clean air.
