Order intake increased by 16% for both North America and Europe outside of the Nordics, contributing to a total of 69 million euros in Q1.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In North America,&nbsp;Kempower&nbsp;acquired&nbsp;four new customers&nbsp;and continued to differentiate our solutions in the market by advancing from pilot programs to real-world deployment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Q1,&nbsp;Kempower&nbsp;successfully completed the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kempower.com\/news\/first-kempower-mega-satellite-mcs-in-north-america-charged-successfully-under-real-world-conditions-at-ev-realtys-san-bernardino-hub-in-california\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first real-world megawatt charging session<\/a>&nbsp;at EV Realty\u2019s San Bernardino&nbsp;truck charging hub.&nbsp;This accomplishment marked&nbsp;a major step forward for heavy-duty fleet electrification. We&nbsp;showcased&nbsp;this momentum and deepened relationships with charge point operators and fleet customers during EV Charging Summit &amp; Expo&nbsp;in&nbsp;Las Vegas, with more to&nbsp;come&nbsp;at&nbsp;ACT&nbsp;Expo&nbsp;in May.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The North American market saw a&nbsp;slight&nbsp;decrease&nbsp;(1%)&nbsp;in new public DC charging point installations&nbsp;and a 27% decrease in new&nbsp;battery electric vehicle&nbsp;registrations&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;a result of the slowdown in&nbsp;electric vehiclepassenger car sales following the&nbsp;expiration&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/clean-vehicle-tax-credits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">clean vehicle tax credits<\/a>.&nbsp;With that in mind, the underlying demand for reliable, scalable EV charging infrastructure&nbsp;remains&nbsp;strong&nbsp;with support from federal and state programs such as the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/afdc.energy.gov\/laws\/12744\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;California\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/californiahvip.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP).<\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;Both initiatives&nbsp;are actively distributing funds and will&nbsp;continue to&nbsp;drive the adoption of clean trucks and buses across&nbsp;market segments.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most importantly,&nbsp;Kempower\u2019s&nbsp;commitment to sustainability remained steadfast.
