With these proposed guidelines, NYC will become the first large city in the world to have a rideshare fleet that is entirely zero emissions or wheelchair accessible. Thus, this strategic EV charging site is set to become a highly sought after hub and a model for other cities in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charging site is situated in the Lower East Side over the East River, between the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges. Needless to say, a charging station on a pier, next to highway, and on New York City land, was a complex project for Revel, Kempower, and other partners. This is one of very few charging stations in Manhattan and is the largest universal charging station below 42nd Street.
