ACT Expo 2026 Key Takeaways

Earlier this month, the Kempower team traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, the largest advanced commercial vehicle technology show in North America. Top fleet operators, infrastructure and energy providers, OEMs, technology experts, and more traveled to the show from all 50 states and more than 54 countries.

Kempower showed their power throughout the week, connecting with industry leaders and media, offering product demonstrations, gathering for our Unplug & Recharge partner and customer event, and highlighting innovations advancing the transition to electrification by introducing the latest addition to our portfolio, the Kempower Mega Satellite Flex. In addition to electrifying the expo floor, I had the opportunity to represent Kempower as a speaker during the Megawatt Charging in Europe: Lessons for the U.S. Market panel, sharing key insights into Kempower’s operational MCS sites around Europe and delivering the first public MCS site in the U.S. with EV Realty.

Explore more key highlights from Kempower’s time at ACT Expo 2026 below.

Kempower Mega Satellite Flex

This year, Kempower provided a first look at the Kempower Mega Satellite Flex, our newest solution and first dispenser to support charging with either high-power CCS (up to 560 kW) or MCS (up to 1.2 megawatts). Our newest solution gives our customers ultimate site flexibility, by increasing the site utilization, while also offering shorter charging times and higher fleet uptimes, which in turn lowers the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Did you stop by the Kempower booth to show your power? The Kempower team and attendees celebrated the Kempower Mega Satellite Flex and its role in enabling the future of truck electrification by flexing throughout the ACT Expo. Make sure to share and show your power with #MCSFlex.

Time to Unplug & Recharge

The Kempower Mega Satellite Flex was unveiled during our Unplug & Recharge event, an evening to connect and continue conversations around scalable charging solutions. More than 140 partners and customers were among the first to see the solution, shaped by real customer needs.

We unplugged, recharged, and spent time catching up with our media friends including Patrick Anderson and Liv Leigh with The Electric Duo. And check out their conversation with Kempower VP of Markets and Products Jed Routh – all about the Kempower Mega Satellite Flex.

Kempower’s solutions, such as the Kempower Mega Satellite Flex, are built to support customers’ next steps. Throughout the week, we spent time with industry partners, customers, and stakeholders and learned truck OEMs will continue to accelerate production for MCS-capable trucks, highlighting the growing interest for reliable MCS charging solutions and enabling the future of truck electrification.

Data-Driven Solutions

There was also a heightened focus on software solutions, like Kempower’s ChargEye, at the show. Fleet operators and managers are increasingly interested in indexing and understanding the data behind EV charging – which Kempower showcased for the first time at ACT Expo through our ChargEye Analytics view.

The universal ChargEye platform seamlessly integrates with operations, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue streams to empower our customers and ensure daily operations run efficiently.

Thank you to all who collaborated and connected with us during ACT Expo. We look forward to returning in 2027 and continuing to support North America’s transition to electrification through more power and more plugs.
