Last month, Kempower released the Interim Report for the third quarter of 2025. It reflects how solid performance and strategic investments yield exceptional growth.
Q3 results marked substantial growth for Kempower across the globe with revenue increasing by 41% and order intake by 45%, the second highest quarterly order intake in company history. North America sales led the surge with record-breaking revenue and an increase in order intake of 149% in the third quarter.
The Interim Report is a tangible result of how Kempower is moving forward and powering planet cool: by turning obstacles into opportunities, delivering quick results, transforming industry standards, and empowering the electric vehicle (EV) evolution.
The expiration of the federal EV tax credit sparked a “mini boom” in U.S. battery electric vehicle sales, resulting in a 29% increase for North American BEV registrations and a 112% increase in new public DC fast charging installations. Despite federal uncertainty, Kempower seeks opportunities, such as the more than $3 billion of funding available through the recently resumed National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. The total cost of ownership remains fundamental for drivers to go electric, demonstrating the region’s need for groundbreaking EV solutions and charging infrastructure.
As customer needs fluctuate, Kempower’s products are fast and easy to operate and support, allowing drivers to seamlessly plug in and power up. In Q3:
- Kempower acquired 26 new customers. Approximately 40% of year-to-date orders originated from new customers.
- Kempower’s operations team delivered strong on-time delivery performance and increased revenue by 41%.
Innovation is rooted in Kempower’s DNA. As leaders in the industry, we are providing differentiated technology that is altering industry standards and empowering the EV movement. Also this quarter:
- E-truck registrations increased by 48%.
- E-bus registrations increased by 38%, demonstrating an accelerating shift toward electrification across vehicle segments.
- Kempower announced its first North American megawatt charging system (MCS) units for EV Realty’s new 76-stall truck fleet charging hub in California, the largest grid-connected charging site in the U.S.
Kempower is well-positioned to support this momentum; in the U.S., Kempower is driving the MCS revolution.
Additional Kempower Group Q3 key figures:
- North America’s Q3 order intake grew by 149%.
- North America’s share of revenue grew to 16%.
- North America’s Jan.-Sept. 2025 order intake of 43 million euros was close to reaching the Nordics intake of 45 million euros.
Kempower remains committed to driving the transition to sustainable energy and reducing emissions to ensure a cleaner and more sustainable future for everyone, everywhere.
