Kempower Donates Thousands to the Boys & Girls Club
Durham, NC – (Wednesday, December 20, 2023) Kempower, North Americas fastest growing Electric Vehicle charging satellite manufacturer, made a $5,000 match-donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Durham and Orange Counties today, Wednesday, December 20, just days ahead of the holiday, anchored in the spirit of giving.
This donation is aimed at enriching the lives of young children during the holiday season.
Today, more than 5,000 Club locations serve 3.6 million young people through Club membership and community outreach.
By supporting BGCDOC, we believe we are directly contributing to the betterment of the community where we work, live and play around our North American headquarters here in Durham.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties is to inspire and enable all young people, particularly those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. BGCDOC was established in 1939 as a dedication to the community service of John Moses Avery. The Club has served over 100,000 youth in Durham since its conception, and currently serves over 150 at-risk youth, ages 6-18, in Durham and Orange Counties every day. Charging no more than $10 per year, BGCDOC provides a unique after-school and summer camp experience that helps students academically and in life.
