“What we found is Kempower is best,” says Benjamin Kriegler, Vice President of Sprocket Power. “They really lean in in order to make the equipment as user friendly and technically advanced as possible and provide all the technical and field service support as required and training for technicians. We haven’t seen that from a lot of other manufacturers.”

Simplicity is a guiding principle for Sprocket Power. “So we love Kempower. KISS, keep it simple,” Benjamin adds. “We want to make it as simple and as seamless as possible.” That simplicity shows up in the charging experience itself. “I pull up, either I swipe my card, I’ve swiped my RFID, get the OK, I get the handshake, it’s working, it’s complete and done. That’s the beauty of the system right now.”

The collaboration between Kempower and Sprocket Power is already making an impact. One of the first joint projects is delivering EV charging to Sunrise Toyota car dealerships in the New York area. Sprocket Power Microgrids integrate solar generation, battery storage and cloud based facility management software, helping businesses address rising utility demand charges and improve energy resilience.
