Kempower Powers Greenspot’s East Coast EV Charging Expansion
Kempower’s innovative and reliable fast-charging solutions are designed to fit the different needs of customers. One customer, Greenspot, a network operator specializing in the development, installation, and management of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, showcases the practical scalability of Kempower solutions.

Kempower and Greenspot have collaborated on numerous installations, underscoring the strength and longevity of their partnership. Most recently, Greenspot opened a 200kW DC fast charger station in Edison, New Jersey, its fourth charge site with Kempower. This installation supports the Inman Grove retail center, which includes a large grocery store, Dunkin’ Donuts, Taco Bell, and a UPS store. There are many multifamily communities surrounding this center that will utilize this location.
Greenspot’s charging stations, located in New Jersey and Virginia, house some of the first NACS (North American Charging Standard) DC chargers in each region. Equipped with dual charging plugs, each charger enables two vehicles to charge simultaneously, maximizing convenience and efficiency. All Greenspot locations, including the latest addition in Edison, provide reliable, user-friendly charging solutions that cater to a wide range of vehicles, including trucks and larger fleets.
The Department of Energy estimates that the U.S. will need 28 million EV charging ports by 2030 to support 33 million EVs. As the number of electric vehicle drivers increases, so does the demand for reliable DC fast-charging stations.
“Kempower charging solutions are designed to be fully accessible and user-friendly, featuring dual connectors – CCS1 and NACS – at every location,” said Mattias Grue, head of sales at Kempower. “Our ‘all-in-one’ solutions allow anyone to charge effortlessly, regardless of their vehicle’s requirements.”
Kempower will meet customers where they are and identify the EV charging solution that fits their unique needs.
An additional 40 station chargers are slated to be installed in 2025.
Working with Kempower has been a breath of fresh air after years of dealing with unreliable hardware in this industry,” said Greenspot Chief Operating Officer Joe Desimone. Kempower provides a reliable product and excellent service.”
Kempower’s versatility in delivering customized solutions is key to expanding public charging infrastructure alongside customers and partners.
