How to get to Norrköping
Norrköping is a city in eastern Sweden, located approximately 160 km southwest of Stockholm and 45 km from nearby city Linköping.
You can reach Norrköping Central Station conveniently by train from Stockholm Arlanda Airport by taking the direct SJ Intercity train headed to Linköping, which takes around 1 hour and 55 minutes with no transfers required.
If you prefer to drive, the journey takes about 2 hours from Stockholm and around 45 minutes from Linköping.
Accommodation at Elite Grand Hotel Norrköping
After you have registered, Kempower will book you a room including breakfast at Elite Grand Hotel Norrköping, located in the city centre. Your hotel room is covered by Kempower, excluding minibar and any additional costs.
Elite Grand Hotel is located at Tyska Torget 2, 600 41 Norrköping, next to the German Square, a historical public square in the heart of Norrköping. The hotel is 500 m from the Central Railway Station. You can reach the hotel on foot, by car, or by taking tram lines 2 or 3 from the Norrköping Centralstation tram stop to Rådhuset. The tram ride takes approximately two minutes.
Kempower will provide guests with one night of accommodation between 20 and 21 January, transportation between the hotel and the event site, as well as meals and refreshments during the event.
Event at Alfredsson Transport on Wed 21st
The test day will take place at Alfredsson Transport’s main warehouse and charging hub at Kvicksilvergatan 4, 602 23 Norrköping, Sweden. The site located just 5km out from city centre features, among other solutions, a Kempower Megawatt Satellite MCS. On 27 August 2025, Alfredsson Transport, Scania, and Kempower achieved the world’s first megawatt charging sessions at this very location.
Alfredsson Transport’s truck depot in Norrköping represents a first-of-its-kind deployment. Under the leadership of owner Erik Alfredsson, the site has been optimized not only for Alfredsson’s own electric fleet but also for public use by other haulage companies. This dual-purpose approach supports the expansion of long-haul electric truck operations across the length of Sweden.
