Highlights of Kempower Charger Platform performance with Power Module V2
-
Superior efficiency
The improvement in efficiency is not only due to the use of SiC technology, but also to Kem-power’s change in topology, the introduction of AFE technology and the improvement of the power factor and harmonics. -
Outstanding power factor
The charging session status is indicated by LEDs, and equipment stopping is optional. -
Low total harmonic distortion
Meeting the most demanding power quality requirements without the need for a separate THD filter
Kempower Power Module V2 benefits
The Kempower Power Modules are used in Power Unit and Station Charger, to provide 50 kW of charging power each, to Kempower Satellites and other charging outputs, dynamically, in 25 kW increments.
Up to 12 Power Modules can be installed in the Kempower Power Unit with three cabinets providing up to 600 kW of total charging power. The Station Charger can be equipped with up to 8 Power Modules, providing up to 400 kW of total charging power.
Kempower Next-Generation Charger Platform with Power Module V2 is available with new Kempower Power Unit in the Satellite charging system, and for Kempower Station Charger orders (for North American orders in Q4/2024).
AFIR compliant solutions
The Kempower Power Unit can contain 1 to 12 Power Modules. When combined with Kempower Satellites and AFIR-compliant payment terminals like Worldline Valina or Payter Apollo, they offer a solution that fully complies with the European Union’s AFIR regulations. This guarantees that customers have access to reliable and efficient EV charging solutions that meet the latest standards.
