Kempower, a leading rapid charging technology provider, organizes a share issue for all employees. This is the first employee share issue organized by Kempower. By organizing the share issue, Kempower aims to foster employee commitment. Moreover, Kempower, owned by the Kemppi Group Oy, gives the opportunity to its personnel to benefit from the potential increase in company’s value.
To achieve carbon neutrality within the next 15 years, Kempower will stop using fossil fuel electricity and produce zero landfill waste by 2025. Kempower has set an ambitious target of reaching a 99% end of lifetime recyclability rate for all its products, with its T-Series charger already achieving a recyclability rate of 99.61%. The company has also recognized six of the UN Sustainable Development Goals that will enable the most positive change to its operations.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root will offer Kempower’s EV chargers as part of its EVerse offering. Kempower’s DC fast charging solutions are built to scale and are suitable for all types of EVs. The small footprint of Kempower’s products will allow Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s customers to make use of limited space in densely populated areas.
LUT University has established Finland’s first professorship in E-Mobility to support innovations and businesses in the area. Kempower will fund the professorship for five years with a total investment of EUR 100,000. Offering the funding continues Kempower’s commitment to be close to Finland’s students, having recently announced its intention to open a research and development center at Tampere University Campus.

Kempower has established a new research and development center at Finland’s Tampere University Campus. The company will initially recruit 15 research and development professionals to work at the facility.
The £75 million rollout will see over 150 high-powered EV charging hubs open across the UK over the next four years, revolutionizing the UK’s EV charging infrastructure.
Each hub will host up to 12 Kempower rapid chargers, totaling 1,500 units nationwide, and will be the first facilities in the UK to host multiple high-power Kempower chargers on a single site. The first hub is due to open next month, with the construction of a further nine hubs expected to begin before the end of 2021.

Kempower Oy’s extraordinary general meeting has elected Eriikka Söderström and Vesa Laisi as new members of the board. “Eriikka and Vesa bring extremely valuable expertise to Kempower’s Board of Directors and strategy development at a time when the company is growing rapidly”, states Antti Kemppi, Chairman of the Board, Kempower.
