eCarExpo Stockholm appoints Kempower as exclusive charging partner for fourth year

The DC fast charging manufacturer Kempower will serve as the official charging partner at the e-mobility trade show eCarExpo Stockholm for the fourth year. The event takes place at Stockholmsmässan on 9–11 October 2026 and the partnership once again brings Kempower’s DC fast-charging technology to one of the Nordic region’s key events for electric mobility, charging and electrification.

As part of the agreement, Kempower will provide charging infrastructure for designated areas at the event, with eight DC fast charging systems supplied plus installation, monitoring and technical support throughout the three days. Kempower will also have a dedicated lounge area at the expo, where visitors can wait for their test drive.

eCarExpo brings together the automotive, energy and charging industries with consumers, researchers and policymakers to explore the latest developments in electric mobility. This year’s event will feature vehicle launches, test drives, exhibitions and discussions focused on the future of electrification.

Kempower’s latest charging data highlights the continued development of the Swedish market for electric vehicle charging. According to Kempower’s report “The state of public charging in Europe”, which is based on data spanning four years from the company’s smart charging system ChargEye, Swedish drivers charged an average of 29.4 kWh in 31.6 minutes, with an average peak power of 86.9 kW. This represents relatively large amounts of energy during short charging stops and reflects Sweden’s position as a mature market for public fast charging. At the same time, the difference between peak and average power shows that the next step is not merely about higher installed power, but about utilising and distributing the available capacity as efficiently as possible – as supported by the company’s dynamic power distribution between Kempower Satellite charging points.

Robert Hägg, Kempower’s Head of Sales for Sweden, said: “Sweden continues to be an important market for electrification and eCarExpo gives us a great opportunity to meet both industry professionals and EV drivers. We are pleased to continue our partnership and to contribute to an event that brings together so many parts of the e-mobility sector.”

Jan Rawensparr, Sales Director at eCarExpo Stockholm, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Kempower back as the exclusive charging partner of eCarExpo Stockholm. Reliable and accessible charging infrastructure is a central part of the e-mobility transition, and Kempower’s presence at the event enables a smooth charging operation onsite. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and showcasing the developments taking place across the EV ecosystem together.”

eCarExpo Stockholm takes place at Stockholmsmässan from 9–11 October 2026. Friday morning is dedicated to industry professionals, while the event is open to the public from Friday afternoon through Sunday.
