About the Swiss e-Truck charging
infrastructure program
The Swiss government has commissioned ASTAG to implement the national program “Ladeinfrastruktur E-LKW” to accelerate the decarbonisation of road freight transport. The initiative supports small and medium-sized transport companies in transitioning to zero-emission heavy goods vehicles by co-funding the development of charging infrastructure.*
What’s covered:
- Up to 40% of eligible costs, including:
- Planning
- Grid connection
- Power supply lines
- Charging equipment
- Total funding pool: CHF 20 million
- Applications open from 1 January 2026
- Program duration: 2026–2030
Who can apply:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 250 employees
- Located in Switzerland
- Expected: ~150 applications for ~600 electric trucks

- Funding based on Article 6 of the Climate and Innovation Act (KlG)
- Estimated annual CO₂ savings: up to 40,000 tonnes

Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellite
Distributed charging for heavy electric commercial vehicles
The Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellite provides high-end, high-power DC fast charging at service stations and heavy commercial charging for electric semi-trucks, trucks, and other heavy electric vehicles at distribution centers and depots.
In the last years, battery capacities have increased, making fast EV charging essential. The Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellite delivers 500 A, reaching 400 kW or more, surpassing CharIN HPC350 standards.
Paired with a 600 kW triple-cabinet Kempower Power Unit, it is able to reduce charging times for long-haul trucks, heavy vehicles, and high-end EVs.
Kempower Mega Satellite
Powering clean transportation
Based on Kempower’s state-of-the-art technology, the first version of Kempower Megawatt Charging System comes with a peak power of 1.2 MW and the Kempower Mega Satellite. This ensures maximum compatibility in the form of either a high-power combined charging system (CCS) plug or a megawatt charging system (MCS) plug. The Kempower Megawatt Charging System’s MCS and CCS outputs can be in the same system for maximal flexibility. Unused power can be distributed among several outputs through dynamic power sharing.
Kempower Control Unit
Versatile solution for all charging needs
The Kempower Control Unit with a CCS2 cable is the optimal solution for depot and off-highway charging where a robust and simplified dispenser is required.
The Kempower Control Unit, available with charging cables of 5, 7 or 10 meters, is suitable for various applications. It is especially beneficial in harsh conditions, such as a fenced depot area, where a touchscreen offers no additional value. The sleek industrial casing of the Control Unit is particularly advantageous in these environments.
The Control Unit can be mounted in various locations, including walls, truss structures, bollards and even in underground solutions.
