Kempower marks expansion of DACH presence with official launch of Düsseldorf office

  • Kempower celebrates official launch of Düsseldorf office with exclusive customer and partner event
  • The site acts as Kempower’s main German base as the EV charging manufacturer expands its growing business in the DACH region
  • The Düsseldorf location places Kempower at a strategic location within Germany and the e-mobility sector and follows Kempower’s steady growth in the DACH region and a number of key infrastructure deployments

The global DC fast charging manufacturer, Kempower, has officially launched its newest office in Düsseldorf, Germany, with an exclusive event as it continues to expand its business in the DACH region.

The office, located at the EUREF Campus near Düsseldorf Airport, initially opened last year and serves as Kempower’s new DACH headquarters to support the company’s long-term growth ambitions in Central Europe. The official launch was marked last week with an on-site celebration with customers and partners.

More than 50 attendees, including Kempower’s customers, partners, team and Chief Sales Officer, Mathias Wiklund, joined at the office to celebrate the opening, mark Kempower’s rapid growth in the region and discuss plans for future projects and expansion.

The Düsseldorf location places Kempower in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s largest economic region, close to key transport corridors, logistics hubs and one of Europe’s most significant e-mobility markets, where Kempower has already established a strong market position.

The site will bring together Kempower’s DACH sales, service and training teams as well as acting as a base for weekly customer and partner training sessions.

The new office opening comes alongside the steady growth of Kempower’s business in the DACH region, which has recently included electrifying the largest e-bus depot in Tyrol, Austria, with Ledermair and vlotte vkw, and supplying its Kempower Mega Satellites to Käppeli Logistik for charging Scania trucks in Sargans, Switzerland. Kempower also recently launched a series of Eichrecht-certified solutions, specifically designed for the stringent billing requirements of the German and Austrian markets.

Mathias Wiklund, said: “The DACH region is a key market for us and our strategic office location in Düsseldorf allows us to better serve our local customers and partners as we continue to grow. We believe the DACH market has the potential to remain one of our most significant. The launch event in Düsseldorf was a perfect way to celebrate this and look ahead to the future.”
