Menaklars joins forces with Kempower to deliver electrified logistics serving Bugatti, Ferrari and Lamborghini

  • Luxury vehicle transportation provider Menaklars adopts fast charging infrastructure to power its growing electric truck fleet
  • Kempower supplied its ultra-fast charging system to enable both overnight, off-duty charging and quick top-ups during loading and unloading
  • Menaklars is electrifying its operations as part of its goal to lower its carbon footprint

Menaklars, the Italian logistics provider specializing in luxury vehicle transportation, has commissioned a new high-power electric truck charging hub at its headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The global DC fast charging manufacturer, Kempower, has supplied Menaklars with its distributed charging infrastructure which will power Menaklars’ growing electric fleet.

Commissioned at the beginning of 2026, the charging hub is designed to support both quick opportunity charging during daily operations and overnight charging when vehicles are idle. The site consists of four Kempower Liquid-Cooled Satellites delivering up to 400 kW each, powered by an 800 kW central Kempower Power Unit, enabling ultra-fast charging when vehicles are loading or unloading.

Menaklars currently operates four MAN eTGX electric trucks, with other additional units arriving in the next months, deployed initially on short routes to rail hubs and ports. After several months of testing charger performance and building operational confidence, the company has since expanded the use of its electric trucks to longer and cross-border routes which also make use of Europe’s growing public truck charging network.

Three months after operations going live, the charging station has already delivered more than 19 MWh of energy across more than 116 charging sessions and more than 90 hours of charging time. Menaklars also estimates that more than 12,000 kilograms of CO₂ emissions have been avoided through the operation of its electric fleet.

Menaklars is a leader in high-quality specialized transport solutions, which it delivers to numerous prestigious luxury car manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, Bentley and Bugatti.

“Menaklars needed to maintain its exceptional service standards and schedules for its premium clients, so charging reliability was crucial. The charging performance since installation confirms that high-power depot charging can fully support intensive logistics cycles while minimizing downtime and preserving route flexibility,” said Mattia De Lorenzo, Sales Project Manager at Kempower Italy.

Menaklars is electrifying its operations as part of its long-term commitment to lowering its carbon footprint and advancing more sustainable, lower-impact logistics.

“The transition to more sustainable transport is one of the biggest challenges our industry faces. At Menaklars, we believe it is also an opportunity to lead by example. We are determined to contribute proactively to Europe’s climate goals and to play a tangible role in shaping the future of heavy-duty logistics,” said Lorenzo Menabue, CEO of Menaklars.
