Congratulations to Osprey, Be.EV, Sainsbury’s Smart Charge and Arnold Clark Charge for being named among the UK’s top-rated EV charging networks
A new Zapmap survey revealing UK EV drivers’ top-rated charging networks lists Kempower’s customers in the 2025 rankings. Osprey, Be.EV, Sainsbury’s Smart Charge and Arnold Clark Charge all feature among this year’s top-performing networks.
Zapmap’s annual satisfaction rankings remain the most established and comprehensive survey of EV drivers in the UK, ranking rapid and ultra-rapid public charging networks nationwide. Now in its eighth year, the 2025 league table is based on responses from more than 3,900 EV drivers collected during autumn 2025.
In the large rapid to ultra-rapid network category, Osprey once again earns high praise from EV drivers, ranking third overall. Osprey has now been a Zapmap-recommended network for six consecutive years, consistently recognised for customer service, reliability, ease of use and accessibility. Its latest hubs utilise Kempower’s modular rapid charging systems, delivering efficient and flexible power distribution across its expanding network.
In the medium rapid to ultra-rapid network category, Sainsbury’s Smart Charge takes the top spot, a remarkable achievement in only its second year of operation. Powered entirely by Kempower chargers, Smart Charge has rapidly expanded across Sainsbury’s retail estate, offering ultra-rapid charging bays designed for convenience, reliability and a premium driver experience.
Also in the medium network category, Be.EV takes second place, climbing the rankings thanks to strong scores for customer satisfaction and value. Be.EV’s growing network of community-focused charging locations, including retail and leisure destinations, continues to deliver dependable and user-friendly charging experiences across the UK.
The ‘Up-and-coming network’ title this year goes to Arnold Clark Charge, another network powered entirely by Kempower. Arnold Clark Charge has expanded quickly across Scotland and beyond, earning recognition for reliability, simplicity, and customer service.
We congratulate our customers on these remarkable results, which highlight the impact that well-designed, reliable charging infrastructure has on driver satisfaction,” said Rolle Nieminen, Kempower’s Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland. “At Kempower, we work closely with our partners to deliver charging solutions that make EV ownership easier and more enjoyable. These rankings confirm that our shared focus on innovation, reliability and user experience truly resonates with UK EV drivers.”
