Meaning:

CHAdeMO is a rapid-charging system that enables fast, high-power DC charging at dedicated CHAdeMO charging stations. Unlike CCS, CHAdeMO requires two charging ports.

CHAdeMO usage is declining sharply in Europe and globally. Today, CHAdeMO accounts for less than 30% of charging plugs in Europe and under 15% of new installations, while CCS dominates new deployments.
