Kempower partners with Sweden’s largest HVAC installation network

Kempower has strengthened its presence in Sweden by entering into a service agreement with Comfort-kedjan AB, the country’s largest network of installers in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning space. Kempower’s DC fast charging infrastructure will benefit from Comfort’s unparalleled  experience and presence, improving the experience for Sweden’s EV drivers.

Partnering with Comfort is the latest example of Kempower’s strong growth in Sweden. Earlier this year, the company announced multiple projects with various partners, such as Rapid EV and Recharge. It was also commissioned by Scania to deliver fast-charging technology for a new electric truck depot in Malmö. Kempower’s growing number of installed chargers in Sweden has made a scalable service option a priority, which is why the company has turned to Comfort, who will support Kempower with installing and servicing its DC fast charging infrastructure.

Comfort has a robust geographical presence in 155 locations around Sweden. Serving a wide range of industries, the company offers services from total contracting for new buildings or renovations to service and energy optimization. Comfort has 2,800 employees, including 1,800 certified installers in 130 member companies, with a total turnover of SEK 5.2 billion.

Commenting on the collaboration, Juha-Pekka Suomela, Chief Service Business Officer of Kempower, said:

“We’re excited to partner with Comfort. As we scale our operations in Sweden, we need a partner which can provide the necessary quality service for our fast-growing charging infrastructure around the country. We’re delighted to have found that partner in Comfort and look forward to collaboratively scaling our DC-fast charging infrastructure in Sweden.”

Juha-Pekka Suomela, Chief Service Business Officer of Kempower

Mattias Lindgren, Business Area Manager National Customers Comfort Chain, added:

“We are now entering the Swedish vehicle charging installation market permanently. This partnership will greatly strengthen our offering in vehicle charging for both businesses and private customers throughout Sweden. We look forward to working with Kempower.”
