Kempower wins 2021 AluINNO competition for innovative use of aluminum
Kempower, the leading rapid EV charging technology provider, has won this year’s AluINNO competition run by Technology Industries of Finland. The company was chosen as the winner in recognition of its innovative use of aluminum in its Kempower Satellite EV charging system.
The AluINNO competition was established by the branch group for Aluminum products of Technology Industries of Finland as part of the organization’s aim to foster innovation in the Finnish technology industry and encourage the use of aluminum due to the material’s sustainable properties. The competition highlights Finland’s technology industry as a world leader in both commercial success and sustainability.
Technology Industries of Finland selected Kempower from a range of applicants as a finalist, with the company chosen as the overall winner by participants of the organization’s Aluminum Days seminar and mini exhibition. As a result, Kempower will receive a cash prize and increased visibility at subsequent events and seminars hosted by Technology Industries of Finland.
Kempower’s success in the AluINNO competition is due to its use of aluminum in its Kempower Satellite fast-charging system for large fleets. The product, which offers dynamic power distribution with satellite charging posts, features an aluminum frame formed through extrusion.
